Franz von Zuelow

Franz von Zuelow (1883 Wien - 1963 Wien) was an austrian painter and graphic designer. Studies at the "Allgemeine Zeichenschule" and "Graphischen Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt" in Vienna. Shortly hospitant at the "Akademie der Bildenden Künste Wien" with Christian Griepenkerl. Studies at the "Kunstgewerbeschule Wien". 1908 member of the "Wiener Secession". 1912 stipend for journeys through Western Europe. 1915-19 army during WWII. 1920-22 teaching at the "Keramische Werkstaetten Schleiss". 1933 gets the "Oesterreichischer Staatspreis". 1949 teaching at the "Kunstschule Linz".
