August Walla

1936		Born in Klosterneuburg
		Is committed to a psychiatric hospital for the first time at age 16; afterwards lives under his mother's care in Klosterneuburg until he moves to the "house for artists" in Gugging in 1983. His artistic work is diverse: paintings, sketches, texts, photographs; he frequently paints streets, trees, etc.
